Portugal and especially the areas around Santa Cruz are home to an incredible amount of wave variety that can provide the goods in almost any conditions. Most famous is Supertubos, regarded by many as one of Europe's best beach breaks, but there are plenty of other waves to ride around Santa Cruz.

Central Portugal is a year round destination with swell hitting the coast almost every day of the year. You can find all kind of waves ranging from world class spots to easier beach breaks perfect for learning in gentle waves.

QUALIFIED SURF COACHES

Bernardo is the head surf coach and he grew up with the Portuguese west coast as his playground for wave riding. Together with his team, they'll make sure you stand up on the board and improve, fast.

SURF LESSONS IN THE BEST SPOT, EVERYDAY

Everyday, the coaches will assess the swell, tide and wind conditions to select the best spot for the group and drive up to 40 minutes north to find the best waves.

SANTA CRUZ SURF LODGE

The Surf Lodge with its cozy living room and relaxing garden with a swimming pool and BBQ station is made to assure you all the comfort you will need after a day of waves.

Veronika, Bernardo and the rest of the team will be your hosts, and make sure you have an amazing time, in and out of the water!

The villa has rooms with double beds and dorms room that can accommodate up to 6 guests. All the rooms are equipped with sound systems and free WiFi.

Beds are made up on your arrival with new sheets and pillows. Towels and other necessary items are provided to make sure you have nothing to worry about on your vacation.

The large swimming pool and a lush grass lawn are ideal for relaxing in the sun or stretching your body in a yoga session. If you rent your own car there is a parking lot right in front of the lodge.

The Surf House maximum capacity is 18 people.
