This is a surf trip for autonomous and skilled surfers. The waves in Angola are more often than not fun and long, giving you plenty of time on the face, but you will need to be an independent surfer.

Adventure across Angola

After landing in Luanda we will spend 5 days close to one of the best waves of the country, Cabo Ledo. The other 4 nights will be spent on a 4x4 road trip, camping on the beach and looking for uncrowded waves in the south of Angola.

In Summer, swells from the south-west consistently hit Angola's coastline, producing a wide variety of perfectly peeling left-handers. Think Morocco, but in reverse.

We will be traveling around Angola with expert local guides and immersing ourselves in its rich culture.With 1,500 kilometres of pristine coastline that scoops up southerly swells, Angola offers dreamy conditions and uncrowded surf spots.

Cabo Ledo - 5 nights

Also known as Surfers Beach, Cabo Ledo hosts a consistent long left-hander next to a small fishing village, 120km south of Luanda.

You will spend the first three and the last two nights of your trip in a comfortable accommodation in Complexo Doce Mar, at a short distance from the surf point, in either double or single room.

Sumbe Road Trip - 4 nights

We will travel from Cabo Ledo south towards Sumbe. We'll make our way with a 4x4, camping and surfing along our way in single camping tents equipped with sleeping bags, pillow and camping mattress.

Get ready to sleep under the stars and wake up to the sound of the waves.
