Embrace the Spirit of Adventure

Your stay(s) in Angola
Also known as Surfers Beach, Cabo Ledo hosts a consistent long left-hander next to a small fishing village, 120km south of Luanda.
You will spend the first three and the last two nights of your trip in a comfortable accommodation in Complexo Doce Mar, at a short distance from the surf point, in either double or single room.
We will travel from Cabo Ledo south towards Sumbe. We'll make our way with a 4x4, camping and surfing along our way in single camping tents equipped with sleeping bags, pillow and camping mattress.
Get ready to sleep under the stars and wake up to the sound of the waves.

The best season for surfing in Angola starts in May and lasts until middle of October. It's the dry or winter season and swells from the south reach Angola's coast with great consistency, so it's rare to spend a day without catching any waves.
There are not so many surf spots that are on-the-radar, which means that the potential for exploration and crowdless surfing is immense.
Surfer's Beach in Cabo Ledo is probably the most famous wave in Angola (and the most crowded, even though that still means little surfers in the water and mostly on weekends). Situated 120km south of the capital, Luanda, the wave favours small to medium sized swells and can go for up to 800m. It's a predictable and rippable wave that delights both intermediate and advanced surfers.
South of Cabo Ledo, going through Sumbe and all the way to Namibia is a vast amount of left-hand pointbreaks, ready to turn on for any South swell.
Arrival in Angola
When you arrive before 3pm on check-in day, the transfer is directly from the airport to Cabo Ledo. If you arrive after 3pm on checking day, you will need to spend the night in Luanda and the transfer to Cabo Ledo will be in the morning after. We recommend always arriving in the morning.
Departure from Angola
If you have a flight in the morning, you will have to spend the night before in Luanda and the transfer will take you to an airport close to the hotel. If you have an afternoon or evening flight, the transfer will be directly to the airport on the same day. We recommend leaving Angola on the afternoon of the last day.
