A mecca for surfers from all over the world, it is home to the legendary J-Bay wave, a long right-hand point break that consistently delivers dreamlike rides. It’s the kind of wave that you only dream of until you finally see it peeling down the line in real life.

While its known for its legendary waves, there’s a softer side to it too. Nearby breaks make it accessible for different levels, and the surrounding coastline is raw and beautiful. The beach breaks in front of the lodge and around J-Bay are the perfect setup if you're chasing your first green wave.

Crowd factor

The beachbreaks in front of the surf house where the lessons take place are often very uncrowded. Jeffreys Bay can get crowded on good days but it's still one of the most uncrowded high quality breaks on the planet

Jeffreys Bay holds one of the longest and most famous right-hand pointbreaks in the world. From Boneyards down all the way to Albatross this wave has dinstinct sections from tubing to mellow. When they link up, it's a sight to behold.

Learn to surf

Beginner or intermediate, there's clear progression across levels, to move from complete beginner to confidently paddling out back. You will have 6 surf lessons with ISA-trained coaches, so you are taught solid fundamentals for consistent progression.

A fully equipped kitchen and spacious common areas make it easy to share meals and good times with fellow surfers.

Just outside is a big pool, perfect for cooling off after a surf, and follow the boardwalk straight to the beach.
