São Miguel offers a mix of volcanic reef and beach breaks, mainly concentrated on the south coast where conditions are more protected and consistent. The area around Ponta Delgada and Ribeira Grande provides several surf spots suitable for intermediate surfers, with multiple options for beginners on smaller days.

Thanks to its exposure to North Atlantic swells, the island delivers regular surf throughout the year: surf spot choice and swell direction are fundamental, making São Miguel a destination best enjoyed with local knowledge.

The lessons are held in small groups by experienced surf coaches. No matter if you are an absolute beginner or an advanced surfer, our team will provide a safe environment for you to learn and improve your skills.

This is the perfect place to rest, relax and socialize (when you're not riding the waves). Here you'll find cozy social spaces, a skate ramp and pool.

During the week there will be plenty of opportunities to socialize and explore, as São Miguel's nature hides one surprise after another.

The Surf House you will be staying at is nestled on the south shore of São Miguel island, with a stunning view on the volcanic landscape and at a close distance to the (surfing) beaches of Populo and Milicias.

In the surf house you will find seven rooms with private bathroom and either double or twin beds. The living room is the perfect area to relax, work with the good wi-fi or have a drink and play a game with new friends.

Outside there are a pool, a skate ramp and ample spaces for sunbathing, doing yoga or reading a book.

The surf house maximum capacity is 16 guests.
