All around Aljezur, you will find long beaches with multiple working peaks throughout the whole year. The potential for quality waves without the big crowds is high, and surfers of all levels will find a satisfying peak.

Summer rarely goes flat and the nearby beaches (within walking distance) of Monte Clérigo and Amoreira always have a rideable wave, with the swell getting more consistent in the lead up to Autumn.

Waves at your doorstep

Close to the surf house you will find two surf breaks, both less than 15 minutes walking distance. These surf spots work consistently through the whole year, with the best conditions in summer and multiple peaks that will make both complete beginners and intermediates happy.

Learn to surf

If you're a beginner, the focus is on ocean knowledge, safety, and building solid foundations. You will have classes with a local surf school and learn paddling, positioning, and, most importantly, catching a lot of waves and having fun !

Beginner surf lessons

You'll be taking 5 x 1.5h surf lessons during the week. Wetsuit and surfboard rental is included both during the lessons and outside; this means that when the conditions are right you can just take your board and go surf in the nearby spots.

Your stay in Algarve Surf House

This comfortable surf house is designed with comfort and privacy in mind. There are 2 big cozy common rooms, a shared kitchen and two double rooms on the ground floor (for friends and couples). On the first floor you will find shared triple rooms. All rooms feature a private bathroom.

The Surf House is located to offer quick access to some of Ireland's most beautiful and secluded surf spots. Whether you're catching your first wave or are looking to score fun surf, this is the perfect starting point for your surf adventures in Ireland.

Algarve SURF HOUSE

This comfortable surf house sits on top of a hill directly overlooking the surfing beach of Monte Clérigo and at a short distance from Amoreira and was renovated with comfort in mind.

Here you will find various spacious rooms, many of them with sea views. In the garden there's a big swimming pool and ample space to relax and socialize with friends. At the back of the garden is the bar where we will enjoy the long summer evenings all together.

In the Surf House there are different types of rooms: dorms and triple rooms as well as standard and deluxe accommodations. Perfect for solo travelers as well as small groups of friends or families traveling together. Whether you're catching your first wave or are looking to score fun surf, this is the perfect starting point for your surf adventures in Portugal.
