Cantabria, in Northern Spain is a wave paradise, backed by incredible backgrounds. During summer, thanks to Oyambre's beach west exposure, swells consistently hit the coast bringing gentle rolling waves that are perfect for beginner surfers.

Wave size is waist to chest high and Oyambre is a wide beach break, meaning that there are no rocks and you can find space in the line-up to learn.

Travel to Cantabria, with mellow waves perfect for learning to surf in Summer.

4x surf lessons

You will take part in 4 surf lessons during the week with qualified coaches. Playa de Oyambre boasts many different peaks on a sandy bottom, and in summer you'll often find mellow waves for learning.

2x surf theory

On top of your surf lessons, join a breath & balance workshop and a surf theory class (90 mins each). These will help you become a more prepared, aware and confident surfer.

Rent the board for the whole week

If you'd like to surf more, you will have the chance to rent board and wetsuit outside of the surf classes. With a gentle beach within walking distance, if you want to surf as much as possible, you can!

You spend the week in a social camping, at a short distance from the beach. The perfect place to surf and meet new people!

Your stay in Oyambre Surf Camp

The surf house is a villa with private pool in Corralejo, on the north-west coast of Corralejo. From here, you have easy access to the center of Corralejo (15 min walking), to the Corralejo bay beaches (20 min walking) and to some of the best surf spots on the island. In the surroundings you will also find bars, supermarkets, shops and restaurants.

The surf house has three rooms: a double suite with private bathroom and two shared bedrooms for 4 people, with a shared bathroom.

All beddings and towels are provided and the common areas include a large open-space kitchen with all you need, a spacious and comfy living room with tv and outside relax areas next to the pool. Wi-Fi and free parking are available for all guests.

Oyambre surf camp

The new tipi tents in the Oyambre camping are set up on elevated decks surrounded by trees. Each tipi has electricity to charge your devices, raised bed frames and high-quality memory foam mattress. Bedding and pillows are included in the package.

Sleep in comfort, style, rain and bug-free. Under the outside deck you will find plenty of space to store your surf equipment.

The tipi can be set up as a shared twin with two single beds for you and a friend or as a couple room with a double bed.

Apart from your comfortable tipi tent, in the surf camp there are a shared eating and entertainment area, an outside cinema, multiple hammocks and a raised yoga deck overlooking the mountains.

The Oyambre surf camp is part of a bigger campsite that hosts other surf camps and holidaygoers. In this campsite you can find a restaurant, a small shop, swimming pool, basketball court, various shower blocks.
