Nestled in the hills above Kuta Lombok, the space for the group is made of a modern Villa and comfortable bungalows immersed in the nature. A short drive to the best spots, this is the perfect home for our group to spend 10 days in.
Indonesia is often referred to as the "Surfers' Disneyland": warm water and perfect consistent waves can be found all over the archipelago – and Lombok is no different. The bays around Kuta host a wide variety of surf spots catering from complete beginner to barrel hunter!
Leave everything behind and only think about riding waves. From the delicious meals and cocktails prepared by our chef Luca to different post-surf activities and excursions, all you have to think about is surfing!

Surf Trip in Kuta Lombok, Indonesia

Flying to Lombok is the easiest way to get to the surf villa. There are many cheap daily flights from Denpasar airport to Praya airport. The flight takes 25 minutes and the airport is only a 20-minute drive from Kuta.
From Bali: 25 minutes (Garuda, Batik Air, Lion)
From Jakarta: 1h 50 (Garuda, Batik Air, Lion)
From Kuala Lumpur: 3h15 (AirAsia)
From Singapore: 2h 15 (Singapore Air, SilkAir)
From Perth: 3h 50 (AirAsia)
Ferries to Lombok
From Bali to Lembar (the closest port to Kuta, Lombok) there is a public ferry. The ferries leave every hour from Padang Bai and there is no need to book in advance. The price of a ferry is around IDR 40,000 and the ferry ride takes around 4-5 hours depending on the sea conditions. It is a very local experience and the ferries can get a bit crowded. It takes 1 hour to drive from Lembar to Kuta and we can arrange transport for you at an additional charge.

With fewer tourists than its neighbour island of Bali, Lombok is a dream tropical destination for surfers looking for chilled vibes and less crowded surf. The most famous wave in Lombok is Desert Point, called by many as one of the best waves in the world (for expert surfers only).
Around Kuta Lombok there is a high concentration of bays offering surf spots ranging from mellow waves for beginner surfers to heart-racing barrels for the advanced surfer. April to October is the peak surf season: in April the wet season ends and consistent and playful swell starts reaching the shores of Lombok.
Rcommended wetsuit
Wetsuit not needed. Bring a lycra and a surf hat to protect yourself from the sun.

Around 26-28°C year-round.
Crowd factor
Low to medium. Sometimes gets crowded in the most famous or accessible spots.
Weather
The dry season starts in April and brings consistent 4-12ft SSW – WSW swells and ESE trade winds.
This surf trip is open for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers.
You need no prior surfing experience to participate in this surf trip.
